He has been a known face when it comes to sailing and water related events. As a naval officer who grew through the ranks to become a Rear Admiral, and one-time Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Festus Porbeni, Rtd, now oversees the affairs of water sports in Nigeria as president of the Nigeria Rowing, Canoe and Sailing Federation (NRCSF).
LAGOS ALL SAIL is indeed fortunate to enjoy the support and experience of such a well-travelled sailor and war general for this event.
The event will attract top dignitaries within and outside Nigeria, the highlight of which will be the guest appearance of the inimitable, Shirley Robertson, anchor of the famous water sports dedicated programme on the Cable News Network (CNN) MAINSAIL.
